2009-11-17 : ICD Project: Oyo, Shippers’ Council Sign MoU

The Oyo State Government and the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) have signed an agreement for the final take- off of the Inland Container Depot (ICD) project in the state.

The agreement was signed between the NSC Management and the concessionaire, Catamaran Logistic Limited in Erunmu, Egbeda Local Government, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Speaking during the occasion, the NSC Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer, Captain Adamu Audu Biu, said the event marks a day the management of NSC is moving concessionaire to site to begin operations.

He disclosed that the construction work at ICD site would be completed in 30 months.

Nigerian Shippers’ Council’s boss explained that the State Government has mandated the management of NSC to begin work with effect from January 1, 2009.
